BiH Minister of Foreign Affairs Zlatko Lagumdzija has said that Serbia’s acceptance as a candidate for EU membership ought to reinvigorate BiH’s efforts to catch up to its neighbors. According to Lagumdzija, candidate status for BiH is at least two years off, but efforts must be made to address outstanding issues, including the adoption of a 2012 budget and the revision of the constitution.
