The newly-formed BiH Council of Ministers has approved a state budget for 2011. The budget now must be approved by the Presidency before going to the national assembly.
According to BIRN, “the 2011 draft budget for institutions and international obligations sets an overall budget of some 635 million euros, of which around 175 million is to pay off the country’s loans.”
No budget for 2012 has been passed, and temporary financing for state institutions cannot be established until the 2011 budget is finally passed.
